The following report has been prepaired for the purpose of assertaining weather or not the IHOP worship music may be played within
Footsteps of The Carpenter.
NOTICE:
This report is not an attack on a single person however Being charged by God to "Avoid even the APEARENCE" of evil I am bound by my faith and as a leader of the room, To prayerfully Research those things which may or may not be ungodly to protect the members of our room.
I do this not to assume that I am a super christian, or that I know it all.
I do this with the hope that things are and will be ok, but I also do this knowing full well the chance that IHOP may in fact have been corrupted and is now a danger to the christian community.
This report is , in my heart being prepaired without any preconcieved bias.
Let me also point out that this report is being based on several key verses from Gods word. These Following Verses are the basis of my investigation into IHOP
1 Timothy 5:19 “listen to no accusation against an elder unless it is confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses”
Now I know that a company is not an elder, And I know that I am not under the leaders of those people. But I also know that should I forbid those things in the room, I am covering my action’s. I am also asking the Lord that I may use this for a company.
Why? Because if I treat other ministries by the “two or three witnesses” rule then I am leaving less room for error. So why Am I putting together a report? Why not just say “I am the co owner and I forbid it”? well I could, but my admins deserve to know why, and further more if I do these reports then you will see WHY I came to this conclusion. And you wont HEAR why.. Thus again leaving less room for the enemy to attack us.
1 peter 2:1 says So be done with EVERY trace of Wickedness and all deceit and insincerity and grudges and slander and evil speaking of every kind”
It is Gods goal for us not to sin, And here God is making it clear we are not to have part (willfully choosing to do wrong) with the sinful things..
1 peter 4:17 says For the time for judgment to begin with the house hold of God”
If we are going to judge right from wrong, its clear we will be judging the matters of “professing Christians” first.
But Josh is this your job?
1 peter 5:1-2 and verse 5 say yes..
1 peter 5:1-2 “I warn and counsel the elders among you, As a fellow elder and as an eye witness of the suffering of Christ as well as a sharer in the glory that is to be revealed” “Tend (nurture, guard, guide, and fold) the flock of God that is your responcibility. Verse 5 “Likewise, you who are younger and of less rank be subject to the elders”I am not doing this to say im super Christian. Im doing this to protect, guide, and guard those involved in this ministry.
Now, the issue before us is “Are these ministries of God? Or False?” First, let us see what Gods word says about the false.
2 peter 2:1-2 But also there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will SUBTLY and STEALTHILY introduce heretical Doctrines. And MANY will follow their immoral ways.
#1, The Heretical Teachings will not be Obvious.
2 John 7, 9-11 For Many Impostors have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus in bodily form. Such a one is the imposter and the anti Christ.
Anyone who runs on ahead and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God but he who continues to live in the doctrine of Christ he has both the father and son”
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine DO NOT REVIEVE HIM [do not accept him, welcome him or admit him] into your house or bid him Godspeed or give him any encouragement.
For he who wishes him success is a partaker in his evil doings”
#2, The False will reject Jesus in body form.
#3, They will bring another doctrine
#4, They are not be accepted, or blessed. Those who bless or accept them are partakers of their evil
As you can see God is clear, do not have a thing with them, if they are indeed false. In addition, if we do partake with them, we are in sin. No ifs ands or buts...
When I sat down to work on this report I realized with the amount of information available we would have an 87 page report.

Bickle has a high degree of desire for Mystic truth..not Gods truth..
The Protestant wing of the western church, which is a tiny percentage of the Body of Christ…, is nearly completely (98%) unaware that the Holy Spirit is restoring contemplative prayer—center stage—to the church… The Holy Spirit is restoring this precious jewel (contemplative prayer) to the body of Christ. This is the God ordained means of attaining the fullness of God.

He quotes from the contemplatives (his word for mystics) and announces that he will be teaching from the Sacred Pathways (which promotes the carrying of symbols or icons, choosing a mantra and visualizing God). Each one of these things is contradictory to the Word of God, which forbids imagery and vain repetitions in prayer.

mystics is a legitimate term... I dont want to fight the war…so Im just saying contemplative prayer, but I mean the mystics even here at IHOP I say, lets just stay with contemplatives …I don’t have time to argue… so I call them the contemplatives…. I don’t want to go into the semantics, the debates…so, Im calling it the contemplatives… I don’t have time to argue… but I need the mystics.
[They are] Some of the brightest lights in all of history… there has been the brightest lights in all history for men and women of abandonment in the dark ages… somewhere we have to say the dark ages were the luminaries in the grace of God…they were Catholic priests.
…a study of the lives of the mystics, the contemplatives, through history, and clearly the most inspiring, compelling examples of history, in my world, have come out of the Catholic dark ages. I can’t find anything like it in modern times, in America, in the protestant world.
…we need a little Holy Spirit catalytic jump start. We need to see where a few have gone before us, and say if they did we can, and we can go further… and if you’re going to go deep into that well, I’m sad to say, the vast majority of them are going to have Catholic roots in history. audio message Comtempolative Prayer

1982 The Kansas City Fellowship founded by Mike Bickle after he received a prophecy and heard an audible voice in Cairo, Egypt telling him to "raise up a work that will touch the ends of the earth".
From 1982 untill 1999 Bickle assocated himself with many high ranking false prophets such as Paul Cain, Bob Jones, Rick Joyner, and John Paul. These men still work with Bickle from time to time. Bickle is currently working with another former friend of his Todd Bentley to restore him to leadership.. Bentley is also a known false prophet..
ihop/ bickel on prayers On IHOP’s website they give instructions on how to pray contemplative prayers:
“Contemplative Prayer Communing with the Holy Spirit who lives within you
Derek Prince in his article *Protection from Deception* correctly addresses the deception behind contemplative prayer or *praying to the spirit within* when he says:
God the Holy Spirit is the Servant of the Father and the Son. This does not demean Him or make Him less than God. But it is a fact that we have to recognize about Him, which directs His activities and the things He does.
In John 16:13-14 Jesus gives us a glimpse of the Holy Spirit’s ministry and activity:
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth: for He will not speak on His own authority [literally: from Himself] but whatever He hears He will speak: and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
So we see: the Holy Spirit does not speak from Himself; He has no message of His own. Isn’t that remarkable? He only reports to us what He is hearing from the Father and the Son. Secondly, His aim is not to glorify Himself, nor to attract attention to Himself, but always He glorifies and focuses attention on Jesus. (and Jesus the Messiah has been raised and seated in heavenly places according to Eph. Chapter 1)
That is the second important way to identify the Holy Spirit.
Any spirit that focuses on the Holy Spirit and glorifies the Holy Spirit is not the Holy Spirit. It is contrary to His whole nature and purpose.
Past Issue with his other Prophets Spirit visions / out of body.
Mike Bickle and friends Bob jones and tood bentley to name a few spend many hours visiting the spirit relm. The problem with this is here…
The Bible is very clear that if a spirit leaves someone’s body, he is dead.
James 2:26 says, For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. (NASV)
Therefore, if someone claims to have an out-of-body experience, it is a delusion. Out-of-body experiences are a definite mark of the occult; it is spiritism and divination.
Bickle , Jones, Bentley and more pride themselves on Visits to heaven through their control. Bentley’s Vision of God is also most disturbing.
In a series of five hour-long tapes entitled Visions and Revelations, Mike Bickle and Bob Jones are heard wowing followers of the Kansas City Fellowship with all sorts of tales of their unverified experiences in the next plane.
Now while working with Todd Bentley and Bob Jones Mr Bickle was well aware of their *guidance* by angels.
He supported it quite often, After all he also had a personal relationship to the angels.
The Problem here however is that by allowing Todd and Jones to bring in these so called angels he as the leader took responability for their teachings.. and he never corrected those teachings..
Instead He Accepted the Angel while working with Bob Jones.
Some of the most spoken about angels are
“Emma” “winds of change” and “Grace”
DISCERNING THE CALL OF GOD by Revivalist Todd Bentley - Part 2 The problem with the angels is According to Todd, Jones and others, the angels took them to heaven where Todd learned that the writing of Hebrews was completed when the writer was in heaven and interviewed Abraham.
IF this is true then Todd is actually saying to us that his angels have told him the book of Hebrews is not inspired of the Holy Spirit but of man.
At this point, I should also point out that Todd Bentley refers to his guides as angels more then the Holy Spirit, Whom we are told would guide us.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth:Notice Jesus did not say “angels would guide in truth”
It is the judgment of the rooms owners, being accountable to God, That this man is walking in sin.
Because he is *being restored* with out having to address the many *errors* in his teaching we can not allow any thing tainted by this man in our room.
We believe God has lead us to the correct choice and this is not open to debate. To over rule God on this would be rebellion, which Gods word in 1 samual says is *as witchcraft.
It is at this time that we feel fully confident on saying
The Ihop org, their ministries and co laborers WILL NOT be allowed in the room. Not their Teachings, Their music, or any support for them...
